Missions For Israel
We, at Little Rock Holiness Church, would like to take a moment to introduce our newest missions to you. The Missions for Israel is a great way to contribute to biblical mandates set forth by God, and a great opportunity to go see Israel on the Holy Land Tour. Walk where Jesus walked, see the Tabernacle (remains and new one being built), and even have the wonderful chance to minister to the nation Jesus ministered to during His own lifetime.
We have had the great pleasure to work with Rev. Richard Saxon on this behalf, and here is what he had to say about the Missions for Israel:
"Hello brothers and sisters in Christ,
We would like to inform you of a great, biblically mandated work that the Little Rock Holiness Church is involved in, with hopes that you will consider joining us in this blessed service of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are currently working with two different projects in Israel - Ministry to Israel and the Mount of Olives Church of God.
Ministry to Israel is a department of the Church of God that has offices both in Cleveland, Tenn. and in Jerusalem. This group brings Jewish immigrants home to Israel (fulfilling the prophetic call of Isaiah 49:22 in which God would use Gentiles to bring the Jewish people home to Israel), helps take care of them in Israel (much work is done for mothers and children), and even supports the young soldiers of Israel that do not have adequate supplies duiring [during] their 'off-time'.
The Mount of Olives Church of God, located on the same mountain of East Jerusalem in which Jesus will come back to earth on, not only does the ministry of a local church, but also reaches out to youth and ethnic groups around Jerusalem.
Both these works are very important, and follow the teachings of the Word of God - 'And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed,' Genesis 12:3 (God promises great blessings for helping the people of Israel). 'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee,' Psalm 122:6 (Blessings are promised for those that love and pray for Jerusalem and her people). Both the Utterbacks - Ministry to Israel, and the Creels - Mt. of Olives Church of God, would greatly appreciate and be blessed by your financial support and prayers.
Donations can be sent to the Little Rock Holiness Church and marked for either work. God tremendously blesses those that take care of His chosen people and chosen nation - Israel." "Ministry to Israel not only brings Jewish immigrants from all over the world back home to Israel, but takes care of them with such things as food vouchers, bus passes, clothing and baby clothings and supplies, and other materials. Many of the immigrants come to Israel from very poor areas and have nothing but the clothes they are wearing. When you donate to MTI you are not only fulfilling Gen. 12:3, Ps. 122:6, but also Matt. 25:34-40 which deals with helping the hungry, thirsty, the stranger, the naked, and those that needed clothes (some scholars feel that these verses deal exclusively with helping Jewish people)."
